To Build a More Energy-saving Dehumidification System in the Lithium Battery Industry - TICA Shining at the China Intern

The China International Battery Fair (CIBF) was solemnly held in Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center from May 24 to 26. TICA perfectly presented its star product in the lithium battery manufacturing field - digital variable capacity direct expansion unit which received extensive attention from all manufacturers and design institutes.

TICA brought the newest and most energy-saving refrigeration & dehumidification scheme in the lithium battery manufacturing field - an integration scheme of the digital variable capacity direct expansion unit and its supporting system. It is reported that the production or manufacturing of lithium batteries has special environmental requirement, i.e. it generally requires a low relative humidity of the air. Take the lamination workshop with the target ambient air parameters of 24°C and 30%RH for example, the traditional rotating-wheel dehumidification technology is achieved through absorption - drying, which results in very high energy consumption. However, the TICA digital variable capacity direct expansion system using the refrigeration dehumidification technology supplies air at a constant dew-point temperature of 5°C for deep dehumidification, thus greatly reducing the operational energy consumption of the A/C system. The power of a rotating-wheel dehumidification unit with an air volume of 3,000 CMH is at least 30 kW while that of a TICA digital variable capacity direct expansion unit with the same air volume is less than 10 kW, so the power consumption of the latter is only one third of that of the former!

Besides high efficiency and energy saving, the TICA digital variable capacity direct expansion unit is characterized by strong stability and rapid and accurate frequency conversion. The unit uses the international advanced Emerson digital variable capacity technology, thus effectively avoiding evaporator freezing caused by excessive refrigeration of a common direction expansion A/C. Meanwhile, the zero-lag 10-100% stepless energy regulation technology greatly ensures the stability of ambient temperature and humidity of the manufacturing space.

CIBF is the largest international regular meeting of the battery industry held in China once every two years by China Industrial Association of Power Sources. The integration scheme of the digital variable capacity direct expansion unit and its supporting dehumidification system brought by TICA at the fair will further promote the development of the lithium battery manufacturing industry and make a greater contribution to the improvement of product quality and the reduction of production energy consumption.
